I live just about 30 miles from Mayfield now, but I grew up in southeast KY in the Appalachians and that's where my Aunt Bett stories take place.

Becky, thanks so much!! You've been around as long as I've been writing, you've probably already read most of them. But I'll for sure let you know anyway; it will be nice to get them all together in one place.

Sharon - I've read many of your stories, but I know I've not read all of them as they are scattered between various forums and websites. And I can never remember the usage of all those plants. I hope you add the usages also in your book! Perhaps a reference in the back of the book or maybe even do chapters about the various plants and memories. I'd love to have some of Aunt Bett's recipes! I hope your book will include some of those, too! I would love it as a storytelling book, but also as a plant reference book.

Sharon, your stories always make me feel as if I am right there beside you. I could feel your excitement and joy as a child and was engrossed from beginning to end.

I love the story about Achilles army using it to heal wounds. It is a shame it didn't work on his heel!

I have some 'Tutti Frutti' yarrow and it is one of the longest blooming plants in my garden. I just cut it back last week hoping it would send up more blooms before fall gets here. I must get more of this started throughout the garden.
