I kept getting an error message saying I had to find my plant first. I typed in hemerocallis and several came up but none were mine, what do I do?

Hi Southview5! Welcome!

Do you know the cultivar name of your Daylily? If so, you can search for Hemerocallis _________ (cultivar name) and if it's in the database it should come up. If it's not there it can be added, just go to the very bottom of the page and click on add a new plant to the database.

If you don't know the cultivar name you can upload your photo here: Daylilies (Hemerocallis) which has info and photos pertaining to all daylilies.

The lists feature doesn't currently work very well for unnamed seedlings. plantladylin has the right idea to add the main Hemerocallis entry and describe your seedling in the notes. But you can only do that once since the system doesn't let you add the same plant to your list twice.

It's something I'm working on for a future update to the feature.

Here is the main entry you want:

Daylilies (Hemerocallis)

Over on the left, click on the blue button to add it to your list. Then you can edit it in your list and add your description.
