Pretty! Seems like the Mexican Firebush was late this year...I just seem to remember it being earlier!

Those brugs are lovely! I'm going to try growing some next year... I love fragrant blooms! Do you have to pamper them? Or are they pretty hardy for you?

The firebush is pretty too!

I'll have cuttings of the some of the brugs to share early next month, as we get ready to haul things in. I have to say..this year was the worst for my brugs. I had spider mites...over and over. 'Then we had grasshoppers chewing on them. I hope next year is better!
The firebush looks better tonight. We were gone this weekend and the front yard sort of "filled out." Looks like a fall garden now!

This is one of my favorites, a purple cuphea. I was afraid it wouldn't come back after the drought and such. But there's a few of them now. What color!

Kerria doesn't photograph well, but it add nice structure to the landscape. Do you have it?

No, I don't. Not sure if I can squeeze another plant in anywhere! But I sure like the bright color.
