Thanks Leftwood. I have since looked back into my buying and found out that that my Blk Beauty is actually a Scarlet Delight, but I'm sure your answer still applies. The pollen I used was Stargazer and an unk orienpet. As I said I didn't think it would work but who knows. Whatever is in those pods will get planted, nothing to lose. Thanks for the reply. BTW, I also tried to pollinate the orienpet with the Stargazer but got nothing. Are they sterile or was this just a bad pairing?

I've been told that older OTs are harder to get seeds from than newer hybrids. A few years ago I pollinated my OTs with pollen from other OTs I had, all of them where older hybrids. But now I have used OT seedlings that I both have pollinated with pollen from other OTs ( I mostly use mixed OT pollen, many OTs are pollen sterile) and I have also used their pollen on other OTs and orientals. And the pods are swelling.
Ille bra,se.

Scarlet Delight is tetraploid ('Tetra Journeys End' x 'Tetra Black Beauty') and may be fertile. I thought I might get one or two and find out for myself.
