Dear Nancy, Stilton is the best cheese in the world, and that is not made in the Cotswolds! All British cheeses are fantastic and Irish, as we have the Grass to get good milk!
We have beaten the Italians at Parmesan, the french at brie and camberet, at Champagne but we are not allowed to call it that, but still thrashed them in the tasting. Much to the disgust of the french Champagne producers. Just down the road from me we have the best Honey in the world 15 years world champion winner, in the Guinness book of Records! The best Lobsters, crabs (crustacean type, not the other sort), the lamb cannot be beaten and Scottish beef and raspberries are world renowned. Our organic movement is so powerful they can shut supermarkets down, and indeed have done.
Plus I make wicked scones, when you coming over, I will get the shed ready for Bob! Only joking!
Hugs.
Neil.
