How do you get rid of the acorn? I would like to post with a nice Lily picture.

Click on the little man above the search box. The first line of the next page will read: 'change your public profile'. The next page will show your profile. Scroll all the way down to the bottom of the page and you'll see your avatar with the acorn. To change it, simply browse your 'pictures' folder for the one you want, click the picture, then click 'open' and it will be added automatically, deleting the acorn. Hurray! Welcome!

Welcome! John

To change your picture you would go to your profile, which would be the icon next to the i inside the circle, to the right.

There is all the information that you can change, an area near the bottom says avatar photo, that is what you want to change in order to get rid of the acorn picture

I identify people by their pictures too. It will be almost as strange as seeing you dressed in pink (avatar), Joe. nodding

Like the name cedargrove, John. Welcome!

Thread OP

Thank You!

I thought I would have to ask my 10 year old greatgrandson how to do it.

I enjoy this thread very much. I don't have much to add, but I like to read. The Lily has chaged so much in the last twenty years. For the better and it's because of Lily Growers like you.

Ex-acorn,

John
