I have sown about 20 different wildflowers types along the river behind the house this spring. Some made it but many others I haven't found including 4 varieties of milkweed, lemon balm, lemon grass, lavender and 2 varieties of bee balm. This is a recently reclaimed area from the Himalayan blackberry and they are still coming back so the battle goes on.
But I have a couple of native wildflowers that came up and I need some help identifying. The first is a white flower with lacy foliage. In the second picture you can see the blooms turns into pentagon shaped seed pods with fuzzy dark seeds of about 3mm each. Around 10 or so to a pod.
UPDATE... I think I have identified this one as Carolina Geranium [Geranium carolinianum]
The other one is a small purple flower almost grass like but not. The seeds come out of the dried bloom and are as fine as dust.
UPDATE... This might be Taper-Tip Onion (Hooker's Onion) [Allium acuminatum]
Thanks Josephine that is correct for a couple of the photos in the upper set but I'm having trouble identifying the two in the lower sets. Both came up volunteer in the fields here in Western Washington. I've collected seeds from both and will resow them again next spring in freshly turned up soil in hopes to get them to spread more.
