for the b.day greeting all the way from PA (parents' home state!).
Hey, I know the man in white was real because when he came out of the store with his purchase in a very small bag he saw me still lifting, sweating and working my butt off. He noticed the bags of dog food in my car. Really huge bags! And heavy, too.
He decided this would be a good time to strike up a conversation to ask if I would recommend the dog food. He started to describe his dog and the dogs diet.
So, because I am polite and friendly I stopped for a few minutes so we could discuss the finer points of grain-free dog food, cost comparison, activity levels of dogs compared with their caloric intake and the fact that feeding a dog biscuit could negate the whole grain-free thing. Keep in mind the entire time the man held me in conversation I was standing in the hot sun, on the asphalt, with a 2 cubic foot bag of soil hugged to my chest and bits of pine fines slowly leaking out onto my shoe.
His momma would be proud that he is such a good conversationalist.
And he is so neat and clean, too.
