Today I couldn't wait any longer, so I dug one hill of potatoes. This is what I got. Now I'm going to cook them with their jackets on, and use them to make potato salad to go with my bar B Q'd chicken and beans tomorrow. Sticking tongue out

I planted them on the second week in June, so they grew fast. I haven't dug the Yukon Golds yet. I'm having one in my "breakfast stir fry" as I'm typing this, along with some summer squash, and tomato from the garden.

I love those kind of dishes and especially with a little Feta or other Goat Cheese drizzled in at the last minute after taking off the heat.

The potatoes you dug look great! Thumbs up

It will be a little while before I can dig the Sweet Potatoes as they are still growing green and strong now.

Your potatoes look great, Tom. Can't wait to start harvesting mine soon--everything got planted late this year due to our never-ending winter.

Any kind of cheese is good on that kind of dish, for sure. My sweet potatoes are going to be along way off yet. Hopefully it doesn't freeze early this year. The vines are looking good though.
Linda, I always plant potatoes after June 1, then I don't have issues with potato bugs.
