I love this ornamental grass. I would like to know which variety it is. I'm not very good with these grass IDs.

It appears to be Canada Wild Rye (Elymus canadensis), but the picture doesn't quite show enough detail to be sure of that.

I just got a reply from them. She says it is Hordeum jubatum Foxtail Barley. Thanks!

My guess would have been a Hordeum species, too. This is Hordeum jubatum in a wild prairie in western Minnesota. It tend to prefer the more moist areas.
