Though I have known it for some time, I have finally accepted that we have too many daylilies. To kick off this downsizing effort, we are offering the following daylilies for sale here with many offered at below market prices. Shipping will begin Monday, August 18 through mid September. Please pick a week that you would like your daylilies shipped (August 18, August 25, September 1, September 8, or September 15). I will try to ship on Mondays and Tuesdays when possible.

Shipping will be USPS Priority Mail. Shipping for 1-3 plants is $10.00. Add an additional .50 for each daylily over three. We accept checks or money orders made payable to SHADY REST GARDENS and also PayPal. Full payment is required before digging and shipping of your daylilies.

All daylilies will be 2 fans unless otherwise noted. Extra fans may be included when available. You may either post your order on this thread or send a T-mail to Casshigh. Some are very limited, so order soon. As daylilies sell out, I will update the list. Feel free to T-mail any questions to me.

Lin, you can grow semi evergreens & even dormants here. I do. There are MANY daylily hybridizers right here in Florida & they grow all of them so don't let the "I can only have evergreens" here thing stop you. Go take a look at my plant list -- I have one especially for the daylilys I have & see that I have a mix of all kinds. When I lived down in zone 10, one of my first & also among my best performing was Siloam Double Classic Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Siloam Double Classic') you can clearly see it is a dormant.

Ann, Thank you for that information! I recently purchased 'Siloam Double Classic' on clearance at Wal-Mart for $2.22. I only bought one and I love it and wish I'd gotten more before they sold out! I don't remember who it was that told me Evergreen and Semi-evergreen were the ones folks in Florida should grow. I did see many dormants that I was drooling over too but I think my plant budget is maxed out for the time being.

A few more sure are calling my name though; 'Tennessee Treasure' because it is so pretty and I love the state of TN. and the Space Coast series are all appealing because the space coast of Florida is just south of us and where we'll probably retire in a couple of years; and Oh My, 'Rose Colored Glasses' is so beautiful, that is one that is definitely going on my wish list but I will have to wait awhile since my plant budget is wiped out for now.
