My garden art is for ME.
As is my garden itself - often slow on projects, NEVER manicured.
It's for FUN, not to be a burden.
If it satisfies ME, it is serving its purpose.
I try to satisfy the plants as well and that's how we relate!

And that is how a garden should be! I have visited many, many gardens from rose gardens, to formally manicured ones and wildflower fields with paths winding their way to a centrally located bench. Everyone is different depending of the plantsman or gardeners dreams. I love it when a gardener shares their thoughts about why they like a certain plant or what time of day the garden is most appealing to them. I think I would really like your garden crittergarden. smiles
Thro' all the tumult and the strife I hear the music ringing; It finds an echo in my soul— How can I keep from singing?

Keep sharing your garden philosophy with new gardeners, Crittergarden. So many get magazines and try to reproduce a garden from a photo not really understanding that a garden is YOUR living space and will be much more beautiful to you than someone else's garden. smiles

Your doing a great job here, Crittergarden, expressing the end result of your gardening to be an individual living space that is uniquely your own and fits your lifestyle and dreams. A lot of new gardeners are hesitant to 'jump in' and make mistakes and make something beautiful. You can give them the courage to follow their hearts.
