Not Your Average Gardening Tools

I have a tendency to look at pretty much every sort of tool as a possible garden tool. Over the years I've tried out just about everything, but I have whittled it down to about 9 tools I use consistently.

My near vision is iffy, so I carry a magnifying glass when I am hand pollinating to make sure I put the pollen on the receptacles. I also keep my Machete close by this time of year. It whacks large weeds and saplings out of my way.

Alana I used to use a magnifying glass until I had my cataract surgery .. everyone in the family thought I was nuts asking the doc to keep me nearsighted when most people opt for 2020. I have such good closeup vision now I can actually see individual grains of pollen and even the texture of the pollen without wearing glasses!

Like the machete idea too!
Human beings, who are almost unique in having the ability to learn from the experience of others, are also remarkable for their apparent disinclination to do so.
