A few sources say D. ackermannii is hardy to zone 9b, but most insist on zone 10, so I'll enter 10 as the zone.

Mine has had 3 huge blooms on it this year. so pretty. Illinois gets too cold so didn't think it could stand the cold since it is a cactus.
