The Chelsea Flower Show 2011 (Part 2)

By NEILMUIR1
June 7, 2011

I hope that just some of the sights of the Chelsea Flower Show in my last article has made you want to see what else was there. There was an awful lot to see and to capture. Chelsea is always full of surprises and this year was no exception. I have always thought of the Chelsea Flower Show to be wrongly named as it is not just about flowers and plants, but has everything, as you will see. So as I have my boots on, let us go and see what we can find!

I so look forward to part 3. It is like a grand adventure.
I think I would have spent the entire day at the alpine rock garden display. Wonder how long it took them to put that together. It was amazing.
Thank you so much Neil, it was well worth the wait. : )

Absolutely pure bliss! Stunning, just stunning.

I'm so glad you don't ask us to pick a favorite photo as I would not be able to. They are all just beautiful.

I could even smell the fragrance of the lavender.

Thank you so much for sharing this with us!

Dear Ladies, it has been a lot of hard work to firstly go to Chelsea and then to sort out all the photos into some sort of logic! Then to do the Articles and hoping my sorting in the photo department has worked! It is lovely though when you get so many kind and most lovely comments from people, it makes all the long nights and aching legs worthwhile!
Lynn it was a pleasure to help another cubit owner out, as I thought your members would like to see some of the plants. If there is any pictures you want just ask and I will send them to you!
Chris and Vicki, I am just glad you liked what you saw from England.
Rann, I speak to you a lot as I love your cubit. So I am glad you enjoyed yourself.
Still more to come and more work to do.
Regards to all.
Neil.

Neil you just keep surprising me. The above photo of the troughs is wonderful. I want to walk up to them and examine each one in detail. I will be thinking about that photo all day.

Dear Charleen, yes there will be a Part 3 when people have read Part 2! Rolling on the floor laughing
We do not call them Troughs in the UK, as a lot of people above do! We call them sinks. That is because there were so many old sinks going to waste, people turned them into plant sinks as we call them!
Regards.
Neil.
