I was looking at Ipomoea alba and noticed that the database lists it as being a deciduous annual that goes dormant. Is this possible/correct?

I've changed the life cycle of that one to "Perennial." It never should have been called an annual, of course, especially if it has a hardiness zone listed and is marked "Suitable as Annual." All annuals are suitable as annuals. Big Grin

Thank you, Zuzu!! I did a quick search and see that we also have (2) "dormant annuals" listed as well as (25) "deciduous annuals" - 1 of which is a basil (??). Should I propose edits for these or ????

I'll search for those, OldGardener, and make the appropriate corrections. Those combinations defy common sense and shouldn't have been proposed, much less approved. Smiling

Is there any way the database could be made to either not accept the conflicting combination or to come up with a "warning" message?

I'm not sure that's possible. I think it will require a little more common sense and a little more diligence in the approval process. Smiling
