Love it, quality instead of quantity.
But the ultimate would be a large quantity of quality comments posted. Green Grin! Hurray!

What a great challenge! I think it's time I get busy and start adding my pictures and comments. I have loads of both! Whistling Just need to sit in McDonalds and use their wifi so it doesn't take forever.

Well, this was very motivating! LOL I don't think you'll have much trouble passing 250 comments. I think I added almost 40 tonight, and that was tomatoes and peppers alone! Hilarious! Thanks for lighting a fire under my seat!

I just wrote a post and lost it. I probably added it to another thread, where it will make no sense at all. Big Grin

What I said was that I especially loved your pepper comments, Angie, because they included heat ratings and comparisons and suggested ways of using them in meals. I got hungry reading the comments. Smiling

Not sure if I did this right: I posted a comment for Clemson spineless okra and it posted and gave me an acorn. Theni posted a comment for walking onions and it looks like the comment is lost and no acorns. Is there a trick to doing these comments? I just spent 15 minutes writing two comments and neither of them are there, I don't want to do more until I understand what I'm doing. Never posted comments before because I wasn't sure how and I guess I'm still not sure. *Blush*

Judy, you can see all your comments here:

http://garden.org/plants/brows...

Your okra comment came through just fine. As for the other one, you may not have clicked on the "Finished" button when you were done. You have to preview it first and then it will show you the preview and then you can click on Finished.

Very nice contest!

Judy, did you hit the "Finished" button? When adding a comment to the database, it will first show only the "Preview" button; once you view your comment, there's a Preview or Finished option so you have to chose the "Finished" button to complete the task. I'm saying this from experience, because I've lost my comments before. Whistling

Well now that I got the hang of it I'm posting plant comments like as pro, didn't realize I had so much knowledge to share. Just went thru my plant list, looking up to see if there were comments. I see that we are a little light on comments so I've been trying to remedy that. And the acorns are replenishing! Maybe someday I will have enough acorns to buy tons of tickets and win a plant gift certificate in a raffle. My aspiration anyways.

I know, I realized I've posted pictures of many plants, but never got around to going back and commenting on them. Slowly working my way through all the plants I've submitted pictures for first, and then will think about what other plants I can comment on. I know I have more pictures on my cameras that I need to upload, too.
