The are many beds to still clear of weeds but if it does not get out of the 50sF in temp it is just too cold for me. My internal heater seems to run on empty at age 75.

Dear all, I am going to try to put some pictures on as this new camera is too powerful! So let us see if this works as I have learnt one hopes to set the quality down a bit.
This is one of Sarah's Delphiniums today when the sun came out. Yes they are still flowering even in the cold.
Regards.

Dear Lucy, the Horse Chestnuts have dropped most of there leaves but they always do. They are the first tree into leaf and the first to drop them. It is 61F outside at the moment (4am) which is incredibly warm for us at this time of year, that is hot in the summer let alone in November!
Even the lime trees that are not liked have turned to Gold.
Regards.

Dear Lucy, it is freezing cold and the wind is blowing a gale. Cornwall has flooded and the RAF Helicopters are rescuing people off the roof tops. They are really brave to fly a Helicopter in that wind, and send a winch man down to get families out! The lost Gardens of Helligan are underwater as is the Eden project. All rail lines and roads are closed due to landslides and mass water as the rivers have burst there banks.
It is wet here, but my hay has arrived for my tree ferns and my pansies love the rain.
Regards.
Neil.

Dear Cherie, so bad here you want one of these and a bottle of whisky! On the odd occasions I have gone out across the road the wind cuts through you like a knife, and the icy fog is a nightmare. It hurts your eyes with the wind and you can see nothing at all. Going across the road is like taking your life in your hands, as the cars cannot see you and although you can hear them, you cannot see them or judge the speed. Soup and another Article on something that keeps you warm, is on the way soon.
Group hug
Hugs and Regards.
Neil.
