This past weekend I picked up this plant from a nursery. It was unlabeled but after some research I am sure this is what I bought.

Some online descriptions describe this as a "vigorous grower" which in my mind may translate to invasive! Many of the pictures I came across show the plant grown in a container with the vines draping. I had planned to plant it into the ground. But before I do I thought I would check here.

I looked in the database and there are no comments posted for this plant.

Anyone have this and have any feedback for me?

Jennifer, I'm not familiar with Foamflower (Tiarella 'Happy Trails') but it sure is pretty. I noticed too that there were as yet no comments about this particular plant in the database ... I guess you will have to be the first to comment as your plant matures and grows. Smiling

It does send out runners. This from Bluestone Perennials: "Prefers moist, humus-rich soil with good drainage. Can be divided in spring or fall. Spreads by stolons which can be easily pulled up to control spread, or planted elsewhere. Remove spent flower heads to improve appearance. Semi-evergreen so do not prune for winter."

I had it and it wasn't at all vigorous here in my zone 6b/7a.
I garden for the pollinators.
