Arlyn gets an Acorn for most wanted by the men in white coats, unless some one comes along and tops that!

Wow it looks like the group had a great year Smiling I can't wait to see all the pictures of them in the spring. Arlyn 400 new plants you have been busy I don't need to travel to the west coast to see Iris now I can just drive to Illinois nodding to get my Iris fix.

Tom I would need an accountant to count them all for me Rolling on the floor laughing this year. I replaced just about everything that rotted over the winter or at least what I could find available in the US so the berms will look normal again next year and I think I just about doubled my Iris space here adding new plants but the majority of it was seedlings not new purchases so not sure where that leaves me on your list Hilarious!

Holy crap Arlyn! Obviously, the rest of us are just amateurs.

Do non-bearded Iris count? I went to Gamble Gardens in Palo Alto today to find probably a couple hundred bearded iris (and this part is so unfair) NOT for sale.. But they did have Iris japonica 'Variegata' ('Aphrodite'), which I'd been looking for, for quite awhile... Their big sale is in October, and all those TB's they've potted up will be available then... Soooooooo my total may change... So many I didn't know.. I'm in so much trouble. nodding

Just counted the bonus iris I received:
Napa: (4) Dramatic Encounter, Jazzberry, Hearts on Fire, and Double Chocolate
Schreiners: (6) Swept off My Feet, Berry Fulfilling (qty 2), Cool Change, Dating a Royal, Tidal Raves, and What's it Worth (bonus total was from 2 orders)
Country Delight Iris: (2) Struttin High and Quantum Leap
Stout: (2) Helens Melody, and Rocky Mountain News
Snowpeak: (2) Pretty Button (qty 3) and Brighde
Local iris lady (1) Thornbird
CT Iris Patch: (13) Larue Boswell, Noble House, Dear Jean, Joyous Melody, Gala Greetings, Thundering Ovation, Neon Cowboy, Heartland, South Padre Island, Cloyd's Love, Sunlit Windows and Flickering Firelight.
These iris were not added to the original total (I already had Noble House) so that one does not count?

Barbara (Pillipb2) That puts you at 314, and the runner up for most nuts Acorn Rolling on the floor laughing Your are for sure going to have to share lots of pictures next spring when they are in bloom. Arlyn you are going to have to buy a bunch from the PNW sale now to keep your honor! Hilarious!

Brad, Since we are only counting new addtions to your collection and not replacements, You'll have to get a count of your new ones added. But we'll give you Honorable mention just because you had such a "rotten" spring, and had to spend so much to replace all the lost ones. I'll bet your list of new ones is pretty long as well??? Now I know I have to make a trip down for the bloom next spring! I want to see those seedlings as well!

The PNW Sale was just announced this morning -- so everyone has a chance to increase their totals!! TB rhizomes are going for $5.00 each this year -- but don't forget, some of these are only one or two-year-old cultivars that would run $20.00 to $30.00 from the vendors!! Green Grin! Hurray!

Well, Brad...you are "heavily implicated " in my number of additions ! Neil, you, too ! And many of the rest of you reinforced my addiction, and added to my collection! Thank You, one and all ! If Mother Nature, and Father Time work in my favor, I should have a 'pretty nice" display next year (and hopefully for years to come !), and all of you can consider this an "Open Invitation' for a visit ! Also I'd like to comment on the "Forum Experience". Here, and on Cubits, as well, Information is shared, jokes are told, iris are swapped, friendships made, and shoulders are cried on. All in All, a pretty wonderful experience..........Arlyn
