The survey performed when I bought the house showed both my fencelines were set anywhere from one to 2.5 feet inside the property lines. The west side has trees between my fence and the neighbor's and I can see why the previous owners elected to site it where they did. I had a crew move the east fence, but they didn't use what I would call proper measuring techniques (as in the foreman just eyeballed the line), and the street end of the fence is now about 10 inches inside the neighbor's property line. So far, no one has noticed, or at least they haven't called me on it. Am saving my coins in case it has to be moved again. Which would mean I would have to take out some plants, but that I will worry about if it happens. Hilarious!

I soothe my conscience with the idea that what I am borrowing isn't usable for that house, really. Whistling Whistling

there are sooooo many gorgeous irises listed and it is almost impossible not to order just one more....... I am tempted on Downtown Brown and I Pink I Can. Neither have been on my wish list so if I follow my own rules about TB's.... both gorgeous. Wonder how long that rule will last. Then I will be kicking myself.

I finally reigned in my self control and decided not to order any more in the second round even though I really wanted Tomcat. And Nosferatu, but I am glad you got them Bonnie. Please earmark some of the future increases for a trade with me!

I will do that Leslie. Congrats to all who scored a beautiful iris for their garden. It was fun and I have kept myself in strict guidelines. I set out to get every SDB that I did not have. LOL some guidelines. I will have two Nosferatu to start and because they will be a bit dry may not see blooms next year but should see increases. smiles

I wanted all of the Look Inside (being selfish, I know). They had three offered and I missed two of them. They were not listed with the SDB's and I hope the folks who bought them know they are dwarfs. I am really glad I got one. Now I have irises coming. sigh. Not the end of iris season yet! I have two coming in a trade and these from the sale and of course I made a small order just to keep busy while I was trying to see if I got what I wanted at the sale.

Well -- for someone who was gonna sit out the PNW sale -- I ended up ordering Irises after all. Sticking tongue out I just couldn't resist some of those fifty dollar Irises for five dollars. Can't believe I did that. Shrug!

I never order any yellow ones. For the first 10 years we have lived in this house... had mostly yellow noid iris's growing here....got tired of seeing yellow. But... I do have have a few bi-colors and such that have yellow in them.

Wow, you guys are making a late haul! I just have the two coming from the Texas sale yet, and that's really cutting it close for up here. Ken there are some really nice yellows out there and they stand out so nice next to the other colors.

Hmmmm...

If I was going to order, what would I pick?????

Lets see:

Blueberry Treats
Sordid Lives
Teenybopper
Out Walking
Cowboy Caviar
Easter Candy
Urban Cowgirl

oh wait, that one is gone. Sad

I would have to order 12 because that would lower the total cost per rhizome. Thus I would need to add some more.

Hmmmm......

Did anyone notice that they had alot of Schreiner 2013 introductions in massive quantities??/ WOW.

Looks like I will be getting a "care" package of rhizomes from North Carolina next Summer. Awesome!
