I know it's VERY difficult to ID daylilies, with the thousands and thousands out there. But I'm going to give it a try anyway.

The most notable thing about this daylily is the very yellow color of the buds. The backs of the petals also show a lot of yellow. I should have measured it when it was blooming but didn't. It is about 25 to 28 inches and I would say it blooms mid-late season. Also, I'm sure it is an old, old, variety, 20 years or more.

Thanks, Sue

Love that first pic of it, very pretty. Haven't a clue what it is though. Hope you find out.

I got it from a friend who got it from a friend. The lady I got it from suspects it MAY even be a seedling from "who knows what". Just thought I'd give it a try to ID. It is one of my favorites!
