Gale, I am in 5b and planted a bunch in Sept. last year. I did loose a few, but he guarantees them to live, and he replaced the ones that died. It was a horrible winter here though, many -22 degree days with no snow cover at times. I'm hoping that isn't what happens this year. I too mulched heavy.

Politicians are like diapers, they need to be changed often, and for the same reason.

Use "Ctrl" plus "F" for the find box, then enter a space and a 7. That will highlight all the seven dollar plants but one, that one has the seven dollar price out of the column.

I am sure that I will never regret having spent my money and precious time on plants.
When I can no longer care for my plants, my sons will have a list of garden clubs and individuals who will happily come over and adopt my plants.

Meanwhile, I buy, I grow them, I divide them, I hybridize them, I share them, and sometimes, I sell them. All gives me great pleasure. I especially enjoy the hard work and the learning.
