Thumbs up WOW a 170 comments Hurray!
I didn't participate either just way too much going on around here right now. They should have that contest in the winter when we are all sitting warm and snuggled with our laptops. No yard work to take care of.

Hilarious! Thumbs up

No special skill involved--just too much time on my hands, I guess! :-D

I will be happy to pass on the 'acorn comment' mantle to someone else this winter! :-)

Every member of ATP is invited to write! We don't have a "team" of writers here- instead we encourage everyone to participate!

Zuzu and I are happy to edit and do any polishing, so don't be afraid to jump in and contribute!! We love seeing new faces!

Catmint did a great job, and hopefully she'll confirm that it is a painless process Smiling Not to mention a pretty painless way to earn Acorn Acorn

Thanks for your kind words, Trish! Yes, that's something that I love about ATP--the openness to newcomers and encouraging everyone to contribute!! Hurray! Yes, I can affirm it is a totally painless process! I agree Smiling And of course I appreciate the acorns Big Grin but mostly I enjoyed feeling like I was able to contribute something, and of course learning more about two of my favorite types of plants!! Smiling

Nice article, Rita! I've just started thinking about late blooming material, so, good timing (though I'm not acquiring more daylilies right yet!)

Nope, wasn't following it so good to know. I like late bloomers cause otherwise the season is over way too quickly.
