Fruit is way down here, too, Tom ! There are "some" apples, and the pears are pretty good, bot no peaches, apricots, cherries, or "tame" plums(lots of "wild" plums, though!)
I still have some apples and peaches in the freezer from last year. Plus some canned peaches, so I'll get by. I've been buying peaches in the store for fresh ones.
Politicians are like diapers, they need to be changed often, and for the same reason.
So soon? I love swimming in the fall when the water and air temperatures are almost the same. But then, I grew up on Lake Michigan and we would swim until October when the water temp was warmer than the air temp! Swimming fools we were!

Went swimming this summer near the Sleeping bear sand dunes, Leslie. I have to say the waters of Lake Michigan are a little cooler than normal this year.
I bet Ken! Takes awhile to warm up after being frozen over last winter. And from all I have heard your summer has been wet and chilly too! I'll be up visiting my Dad this month so I will bring some warm weather along.
