Some of the rock gardens at the show included charming miniature vignettes.. I snapped a few photos to share. There was also a display of miniature gardens or rooms or something, but we didn't take the time to file past them (meant to get back before the end of the day when crowds were thinner but oops).

Did anybody else go and see more?

this shows a little more of the "garden" in that last one.. the show theme this year was "Passport to the World," and each area of this miniature scene represented a different continent or country (note the little signs).

er, oddly enough the Philadelphia Flower Show was held in Philadelphia... at the PA Convention Center, to be precise.

The miniature rooms or gardens or whatnot were off in another section, and it would have taken a while to file past... this is a really huge show, and we meant to at least check them out, but we got distracted. I could easily spend 2 or 3 days at this show... maybe next year my in-laws will join us, and we'll stay overnight. Smiling

funny, I noticed the name of the thread after I hit send... guess I was a bit distracted by those photos LOL! I'll have to do a google search here and find out if there is a show near me. I am sure there is, or will be soon LOL First I need to figure out where my browser tool bar went. I cant even google anything right now Sad

Beautiful Critter. I love things like that. The people in the boat look like Bonsai figues, which I love also.
Thank you and hugs for the little one and kisses.

You'll all just have to come up to the Philly show next year... I don't think there's anything else in the US that's on this scale. Cleveland does a very nice home & garden show, and there are lots of smaller ones around the country, so I'm not saying it's Philly or nothing... but I think everybody should try to get to the Philly show at least once in their lifetime.

You just can't see everything in the show in one day... or if you do, it's rush rush with no time to enjoy what you're seeing. It's fortunate that my friend Terri & I have the same approach -- we'd rather browse through a lot of it than try to rush through all of it. We also spent a good bit of time in the vendor booths, many of which are exhibits in their own right. Smiling

Jill - LOVED those garden show miniature garden scenes! Fabulous! Thanks for sharing your awesome photos with us! Definitely inspiring! I wonder if Orlando has a garden show ...
