LOL....I noticed, Glen, that you had posted some lovely yellow daylily blooms today. Your Winter doesn't last as long as ours does here in the NE. Lucky you. I am always so sad when I have to close down the garden in preparation for Winter. This is also a busy time for me while we still have warm days. I also have to clear my decks in the next month, bring plants inside, and store deck furniture in the garage. And there is never a 'man' around the house when I need one.
Glen, I am not leaving the site, just preparing to hibernate, like our bears do, for the Winter. I promise you, I won't miss any of your beautiful images. And, as you may know, New England, and especially Vermont has a gorgeous foliage season during the Fall. This is the time of year when our Sugar Maple trees as well as our Red Oaks ...there leaves turn from green to a golden orange, reds, yellows, and all shades in between.. The entire State: mountains, valley's, gaps, and gores appear to be on 'fire', nestled amidst our covered bridges, red farmhouses and silos, streams, and fields of gold. 'Leaf-peepers' come from all over the world to enjoy this remarkable spectacle of nature. It is really something for all the senses to experience. A rich kaleidoscope of amazing colors, all co-ordinated and produced by Mother Nature!
