The other day I had to drag my dog away from this area. I heard something squeaking which turned out to be this furry little mole? I didn't know what to do ...scoop it up or knock it on the head...but then I got worried it might bite my dog so I left it to go on it's merry way making lots more holes in the grass.

That's kind of like the little lizard that got into the house earlier today. Moles can carry rabies so it is best to keep you pup away.

(I'd rather have an armadillo than a mole in my yard)

Oooohhh...I wouldn't want a mole in my garden. Don't they eat the roots of everything they can find?

Did you mean me or Cannadanna? Hilarious! I have three but they're not very useful unless you want to be covered with slobber or hair! Big Grin

Well, the trap I put out for the armadillo finally caughter something...but not what I intended to catch. It was a small raccoon! I let it go...it probably wanted figs. I had the trap set up where something had been digging under the fence by the fig tree.
