Name: Chocolate Brug Lakeland Florida zone-9 (Zone 9a)
I wanted to share a few pictures of the world of William and a little story behind a few of the plants I'm growing.
Since this is a Brugmansia Forum I thought it would be better to start off showing this Berfee Bloom opening.
Now Earlier this year I went to wal-mart to purchase me a pack of v-neck T-Shirts and I was shock to find a 3 pack of fruit of the Bloom t-shirts
was a Warping $18.00 bucks and I went crazy asking the sales clerk that I was looking for the $4.99 pack of T-shirts and she laugh at me because she said she have not seen that price in years.HHHHmmmmm it's been a long time since I been shopping for myself. so I storm out of wal-mart
and was saying I will show them I will make my own T-Shirts so I grew me a little Cotton for fun and was telling everybody I was going to spin me some cotton and make my T-SHIRTS and they all laugh at me and said you can take the Fellow out of the Country but you can not take take the Country out of the Fellow. Enjoy it was fun
Here is my 7 feet Dwarf Papaya growing quiet nicely.
Here is my Bananas growing and there is nothing more tasty to me than a Banana smoothy.
A few Grapes growing
A Passionflower-- Insense
Guava Apple
My cacao/coco plant
I started growing this plant to get my own coco pods after purchasing a peanut butter Reese cup and I got home and poured me a cup of Milk
to go with my Reese cup and low and behold I About fell over backwards after sitting down to watch my favorite western movie after opening the Reese cup I was shock to see they have reduced the cup to the size of a Nickle. The wrapper was the same size but the really have shrunk
this cup to nothing and my Wife Laugh so hard at me because I was all Hyped up and ready to chow down but there was nothing to chow down on after one bite it was gone.
I'm drying out some of my Okra for the seeds for next years crop.
Just a few Vegetable plants getting ready to plant my Turnips and Collards, Mustard Greens for the Fall so they will be ready for Thanksgiving and Christmas.
A few Hibiscus Blooming
Last one
I Consume Coffee a little to much during my day about 2 cups in the Morning and 2 in the late Evening sittng on the Patio enjoying the Beauty
and I Drink only Tasty Choice which is about $11.99 on a normal day and if I catch it on sale I can get it for about $6.99 so I decided to grow my own Arabian Coffee plants to harvest my beans.
Very beautiful plants. I remember when a candy bar was a nickel. And in those days it was a candy bar. Hair cut was half a dollar. And gas we won't even talk about. (22pennys a gal.) How things have changed.
Spectacular, William. What a joy it must be to wake up to that garden of yours every day. You've got plants that I only dream of having...especially the cocoa and banana plants! Well done, sir!
