Such beautiful seedlings! Lyle, I absolutely love your second patterned seedling, the one with -- "twinkle eyes", is it? And Jeff Corbett has really gorgeous seedlings too!

And Cindy, you always have such beautiful dip seedlings -- love 'em! And your FORESTLAKE RAGAMUFFIN seedling looks really wonderful too!

Thanks Teresa. I really need to take my favorite seedlings out of the beds they are in and put them in a different bed. It is more of a watch and evaluate bed. They won't be so crowded then and I can see how they increase.

Thanks Glen, Betty and Vickie! Glad my posting helped show the Sculpted forms. It's really exciting working them, particularly with the Sculpted cristate form which is a single flower ( the Sculpted cristate form is not a double flower or double form).
Love the patterns on the Dragonfly Dawn kids James. Nice dark eyes on the Corbett sdlgs, and Cindy, the first Gentle Blessings X NWD seedling , with that huge watermark. very pretty... Thumbs up

All I can say is that I LOVE going down this thread to look at all the blooms. All of them make me stop and pause.

I wished I had land like Fred to add some rectangular seedling beds like he has. What fun that must be in the Spring/Summer when the new babies start blooming! It's a good thing I don't though, because I would sure have a hard time throwing most in the compost heap. Sticking tongue out Whistling Hilarious!

This (unknown parent) seedling that is 2+ years old was my very last bloom from 2 days ago. I have never had a daylily re-bloom this late. July is usually the latest month to see the last of my daylilies bloom. I had several plants that were either a division of this plant or sibling plants and they all re-bloomed for me the end of August and up until recent in September. I am beginning to pay more attention to genetics that produce late bloomers or late re-bloomers. Another of my goals is to have more blooming or re-blooming later in the season. I'd love to have a garden like Glen where he gets blooms almost year round. I have a lot of daylilies. They are the most abundant plants in my yard. It sure would be nice to see them bloom longer than 3 months to justify all the space given them in my garden. So another of my future goals is to cross late bloomers and late re-bloomers with patterned plants. Both of which I desire. I know everyone here has their own agenda and preference of bloom characteristics. That is mine .... late bloomers and some interesting patterns. But above all else, I like vigorous plants that survive the sun and heat in Florida.

BTW - This last bloomer and the 5 others like it were in a partial shade garden. Only 1 of my full sun daylilies rebloomed for me. Go figure. Seedling (with unknown parentage) that bloomed up until the middle of September this year :

This one is nothing special in looks, but the blooming time was what made it very desirable in my garden!

I've probably posted this one in some other thread, but it is a favorite and has been blooming since mid July, these were the last blooms earlier this week. Cherry Cheeks x unknown.

Becky, I can see why that is a favorite. I love the curve of the sepals and the color is very nice, too.

Sandi, Your Cherry Cheeks seedling has a very cheery look to it. I like it.

Vickie - It is not necessarily one of my favorites, but the late re-bloom characteristic had me from HELLO! LOL!

I agree with all the comments here about all these truly amazing seedlings! Congrats to everyone on some mighty fine new daylily creations! Lovey dubby Lovey dubby Lovey dubby

Lyle that double seedling is amazing. I don't think I have seen a double with that color combination before. Bravo!
