I found this in one of my pots -- weed or keeper? Pretty tiny yellow flowers -

Oh, I hope someone pops in with an ID on this for you soon. I'm real curious as to what it is. It reminds me of something I had pop up here last year but for the life of me I can't remember the name. I first thought Turnera or Helianthus but it's not either of those ... heading out to meet friends for an early dinner right now but I will really be curious to hear what you have there. I'll have to look through my plant folders later to see if I can find the one I'm thinking of that was growing here.

I think I was thinking of Ranunculus (Buttercup) of some sort but not sure with that one.

The plantI had growing here was: Peruvian Water Primrose (Ludwigia peruviana) which doesn't look like yours. Wonder if there's another type of Ludwigia that grows in Texas?
