Will there be a check box for Rock garden?
Not all rock garden type plants fall under the criteria of Zuzu's description.
zuzu said:I thought I should add a post explaining those criteria. Alpine plants are small and hardy mat-forming plants with a deep taproot. They can only thrive in a harsh environment and in soil poor in nutrients.

There can be. How do you define a plant suitable for a rock garden?

How many "Rock Garden" plants don't fit in either the "Xeriscapic" or "Alpine Garden" fields? In other words, are there rock garden plants that are neither suitable for xeriscaping nor alpine gardening?

Not all plants suitable for rock gardening are alpine plants, or xeriscapic

I'm late to the party, didn't get a chance to check back on this yesterday and 'the guys' use computer in the evening, but this is cool! Thanks to Zuzu, Dave, and everyone who offered some input to help out. I know what I'll be doing after lunch.
