I have a process by September I put all the pots on the patio so I cannot miss them. Big Grin

There are three windows in different rooms facing the patio so when I look out the window I will know if I left something. I watch the extended weather forecast and try to bring things in as close to our first frost as possible. We have such a long winter I do not want to bring them in too soon. I prefer to push it to Nov especially the ones that can handle a little frost.

I think the tender ones or ones we are not sure of are well worth the effort to bring them in. I know I have several that I will bring in.

I'm with you Cinta, I try to leave mine outside as long as possible because its such a long winter. Do any of you do anything to your potted plants before you bring them in, like dunk them in any kind of a solution of spray them for bugs or ? I never did in the past, but this year I'm going to be bringing in more plants than ever before and was wondering if maybe I should do something to prevent any problems?????

I wrote up what I do to my house plants here I bring in about 100 pots......
The thread "Bringing them inside" in Houseplants forum

But succulents I usually do not do anything to them because the soil is so dry I do not usually have any bugs in them especially since I leave them outside until the frost it usually kills anything before I bring them inside.

I should have until about Nov before I have to bring them inside.

Most years its pretty dry, but this year it's not. That's why I was a bit concerned. Thanks for the link - I'll go check it out!
