The daylily seedlings are beautiful! You raised these from seed? Did you collect/hybridize them yourself? They are all so beautiful, I especially like the last one.

Thank you. Yes, from seed won on the daylily seed auction and from T's plants of the new blooms. It was exciting to grab my camera to snap pic's of the new one's. Group hug I tip my hat to you.

That is wonderful! It's my hope to someday when I'm retired learn to breed iris and daylilies (just for fun). I think it would be such a treat to see color combinations and such that you planned for.

Where do you garden?

I'm in Waynesboro, PA, which is right on the Mason-Dixon line, about 12 miles north of Hagerstown MD. We have had an absolutely wonderful summer weather wise, but we're in a drought now...no appreciable rain in September. Still, the days are beautiful and I guess if you're going to get a dry spell, this is the time for it...at least fruit and seeds are ripening beautifully.

I'm in Riceville Tennessee, between Knoxville and Chattanooga. You know, small town USA, a post office, 2 gas station's and a Dollar General.
We are also beginning to dry out. Had 60's last night. I do not like winter weather.
Now that we are both retired, I play in my yard everyday that I can. Whistling Linda

This was a small town when we came here 30 some years ago. Coming from a small city, it was a shock to be able to count the redlights and there was only a Kmart and a Pizza Hut (just outside of town). The parking meters took PENNIES. Those days are sadly over...WalMart moved in, lots of fast food places, the Main Street is dead.
