This plant is growing in my father's southeastern Ohio front yard. We both have no idea what it could be. Please help.

Yes, Kent's right about the ID, and all of the photos in that entry do belong there, Seedfork. I have this plant springing up all over the place on my property and those photos are good illustrations of the various stages it goes through.
