I have had a plant nursery for 28 years, but I'm starting to sell on eBay and this is my first listing. It is Ceratozamia miqueliana which is critically endangered in habitat. It is also one of the most beautiful cycads in the world. This particular seedling is worth at least $50 here in Florida and $85-$120 on the west coast of the US. I started this one at $20 to get some interest in bidding. If you want what may end up being a GREAT deal on a very hard to find cycad, think about bidding. Just a seed of this plant costs at least $8. Tom

We do have a Cycad & Palm club here in the Phx area that might be interested in it if you don't have any luck ... I know a couple of their members who are also members of the Cactus/Succulent society that I attend.
In the end, only kindness matters.

Science is not the answer, it is the question.

Yes, Nick Argyros is a good friend of mine. He has been the seed bank guy for The Cycad Society and helped me out a lot when I was President. I think he is President of your local group still. A few years ago they flew me out and I gave a presentation to the group. It is a nice group of people. I think there was about 40 people there and are very interested in cycads. Arizona requires a phyto on all orders, even if it is one plant and that costs an extra $70, so in this case, I'm not shipping this to Arizona , or Hawaii. There are some people in Phoenix that have some pretty nice looking cycad collections. If they ever have a meeting at Nick's again, you should go.
If you go to the succulent meetings, you probably know
Leo. He also grows cycads as well. Tom
