I agree and certainly it shows in the picture the plant is at least 2ft. tall. Someone just was careless in editing the description of this. Most Heucheras are in that 10in. height range, so maybe they just used the 'generic' entry instead of creating a new one for this big cultivar.

I have not seen that one around here. There are quite a few that have similar color, but if the leaves really get that color I would consider getting one. Brownies is the largest I have or have seen so far.

It is 2 years old. Appears something is eating mine but there are new leaves emerging.

Looks like the leaves brown out some from summer. Color reminds me very much of 'Plum Pudding'

I don't know if this will be of use, but I found quite a bit of info on Heuchera villosa Magnum while looking for heucheras for my garden.

H Magnun is a hybrid of H villosa from Thierry and Sandrine Delabroye. http://www.plantdelights.com/H...

Leaf size is 8 to 10 inches'

Average height and spread is 1 ft by 2 ft ( some sites have H villosa hybrids growing as tall as 18-20 inches with bloom scapes as much as 28 inches) IMHO, I think those dimensions are possible if the plant is grown in near perfect conditions

This link is to the e-mail address for Sandrine and Theirry Delabroye

That is the key "near perfect conditions" Here in the PNW is not even close to perfect conditions for any of the Villosa. Barb, you should do well with this one down in Texas.

I have managed to seriously set back plant growers everywhere. I had a couple of the smaller noids from SIL in Georgia. She said they liked sun and didn't like a lot of moisture.....in my ignorance, I fried them. *Blush*
I have some morning sun areas that I thing would work so I am looking right along with you. (that's why I had the info on H villosa, etc) See if these have enough silver/gray to them.

Yes Barb they were my dogs, but that was quite some time ago.
Julia is right none of them are a true grey. Glitter does have some nice silvering and does have Villosa in it's background.
