Lynn, Do you have these in cement blocks? They photograph very well that way. I'm not sure I want that for our collection here, but it gives me ideas. Thank You! It's a lovely plant and I'll probably end up adding it to my wish list not only for its color but for the way it collects its chicks. MR

It is in one of my raised beds. We have very wet winters and springs, so raising the soil level with fast draining sandy loam keeps the semps happy. It also saves on weeding and watering during the summer months.

Are those metal (aluminum?) plant tags? We have some, but I think we need something special to write with. They came with a pencil, but I haven't found that to be very satisfactory. I'd be grateful for your recommendations. Thank You! MR

This is what I have: http://www.metalgardenmarkers....
Then there are these: http://www.yuccado.com/doohick...

I use a P-touch printer for the labels.

People use old venetian blinds and cut them into the size they want, and write the name of plant with a pencil.

Happy reading. There are so many ways to do plant tags. Some costing almost nothing. I really like the soda can tags. I may give that one a try when I run out of the last of the tags I have.

Yes, they are shown in the first post in the above listed link. Here it is again. They are great and will last for many years.
