Are the blooms in this photo truly blue? Wasn't sure if it's just the lighting. Mexican Bush Sage (Salvia leucantha) is a definite purple not blue and the leaves on yours look too wide unlike the long narrow leaves you can see in some of the other shots.

You are right, Sue. It looks more like the interspecific hybrid Salvia leucantha x elegans 'Anthony Parker' to me.

Danita, you are right, that's exactly what it is. for the ID. I took that photo at one of the botanical gardens here in SC last fall. I took the photo, because I thought it was an unusual color blue for Salvia leucantha, but the sign didn't identify it as a hybrid. I posted the photo in the salvia database under general salvia leucantha, I think. Sue, can you please make the change with the proper ID and thanks for checking?
