I found this site "for the most part" easy to understand and apply the techniques.

http://www.cambridgeincolour.c...

I just wanted to understand some of the basics and although it has some pretty technical stuff it does explain the basics. I am going to have to spend a lot more time on it to get more than that.

I will be taking it in small time bites to facilitate digestion and sanity. Rolling on the floor laughing

Thank You! Marilyn. I'll go there now to see what it is. You are doing a lot of work for us! I need to settle down to more study and practice -- today was a bit difficult for adding hard work. I still need ATP and my semps for recreation! *Blush* MR

When I first started I felt the same way. I was overwhelmed by how beautiful some of the photos were and how the banners were created. I wanted my pictures to look like that. I felt waaaaaay over my head.

I did not think about it for some time and then it took some time until I got interested again (and a better camera) then I began to progress a bit, little by little. I am working on it but I will not going to ever be an expert Photographer. I just don't care enough. I figure if I learn something every year then if I am given enough time here I will get better.

Don't make ATP a job, do what you want.

Thank You! , Marilyn. This site is great! I need to figure out which threads are beginner-friendly and which are geared for people who already understand the language. I really do want to learn to use my camera, so I'll stay away from some of the other threads until I have a clue what they are talking about...

I admit I read what I could easily understand, skipped over a lot and picked up a few nuggets to try.
One small bite at a time
