As moderator of the iris site, I would like to compliment you all.

You all get along perfectly, no arguments here.

You are all helpful to one another

You spend a LOT of time uploading pictures.

You spend tons of time trying to help identify irises.

The trading you do just blows my mind.

Thank you all for making my job easy, if not non existent.

And you are certainly one of the above.

I'm doing well. thanks. Finally able to work in the garden. This week, other than today is supposed to be nice, time to tackle out of hand weeds.

The folks on this site are exceptionally great. I know we all come from different 'walks of life' and have very diverse backgrounds but we have immense respect for each other and I personally am very fond of all these nuts! Simply put, they have become my iris family.

Ditto here, I don't know what I would do without my iris conversation fix with my coffee.

I think that our love of a singular plant translates into an appreciation for others who love it as well. The cornerstone of friendship is already in place -- the common denominator that brings us here. Without knowing any other thing about each other, we already *relate*.

I agree with you Polly -- morning coffee is my first *check-in* here -- but I do so often over the course of the day, checking in to see what my friends are up to!!

We do, Mary Ann, relate to one flower, and therefor others who love it. Good point!

I certainly appreciate this crazy bunch of iris lovers. And I have learned so much in between the laughter!

It's also nice to have a place to send your extras to, so you know someone else will appreciate them too, instead of having to toss them into the compost. then watch us all scramble to build new beds to find a place for them.

Coffee is not as good in the morning as skim milk, say I. But irises & their people are the best.
