We lived in Texas till May of 66' I don't remember it ever getting that cold. In Fort Worth or Watauga...................Either I was really really young or the climate there has changed severely over the years.

Doesn't get really cold very often. Unless you ask all those people who showed up last year during Super Bowl time. Sticking tongue out Might, maybe, snow a little bit once a year. Usually get one or two ice storms, sometimes pretty bad. But over all, it's nice enough to work outside comfortably most of the time. Hurray!

Its funny I was born here and transplanted to Tx in 1956. We moved here again in 1966 and I still claim TX as down home. One would think that after how may years? 46 years? That would NO longer be down home? But it is................................. Can't help it......

Lots of good conversation going on now.

We were scheduled for snow this afternoon or evening but it hasn't happened. We did get a good rain yesterday. We still have puddles in the driveway.

I'm so tired I'm shakey so I'll head off to bed.

Where is every one? It was going great and then just died again. I know, everyone is busy with the holidays. I'm doing zilch baking, candy making, big dinner fixing, etc. Just too much eating of what others are making.

May you each have a blessed and joyous Holy Day.

I too have been baking and cooking, shopping and wrapping, decorating the tree. We had my husband family Christmas on the this Saturday past. So there was baking and cooking to do there.

Christmas cookies, and bars for here at home, then Christmas Day we go to my oldest sons house for another Christmas get together. I have cooking and baking to do for there,

New Years Eve we were staying home, but last night, he decided to buy tickets for a night out. That is fine with me. We've stayed the past two years now that the group we used to like to go listen to disbanded. They were just a local group but played songs that everybody was satisfied with at one point during the day, So we'll go with 2 or 3 other couples our age. Should be fun,

No snow yet, here any way, Awful foggy out there this morning and 28º, wet for there must of been rain during the night I hear t dripping off the trees and landing on the sun room roof. Been a fairly mild December so far. Makes me nervous as to what January and February have in store for us here in WI.

I need to get another cup of coffee in my system so I can get on with my day.

Merry Christmas every one,

Looks like good travel weather for Christmas. Yeah! I like snow, but we will get that soon enough and once it starts it just doesn't seem to quit.

Hope everyone has a safe and happy Holiday.

I like the friendly people here at ATP. The forums aren't alphabetized and are stacked backwards (oldest first). Ensuring any new reader goes away without posting.

All that has not been done but needs doing if you want these forums hermetically sealed is to break the links for searches.

Coppice, I just checked and the forums are alphabetized. As for order of postings I think it makes perfect sense to put the last post at the end of a thread so that there is continuity of conversations. I have never had trouble getting around here and I'm definately not computer or internet wise. I'm sorry you are unhappy with the way things are set up here.

May you each have a blessed and joyous Holy Day.

I'm anxious for fall to come. Lost two monkshoods to spider mites last season, but bought two more. Hoping to finally see them bloom! :hurray:
