Quite funny. Ludlow Lambertson is apparently a twitcher too. A man after my own heart. It annoys me he has seen Spoon-billed Sandpiper.
The problem is that when you are young your life it is ruined by your parents. When you are older it is ruined by your children.

Im not sure what a twitcher is. If its bird related, its a love of His that surpasses daylilies. I sure wish I had seen half as many birds as he has gotten to see.

It is one of mine too. I have seen nearly 4000.

For those who want to meet Luddy Lambertson, he will be in Indiana October 23.

Here is the information:

Hi Gerry.

Glad you will be coming and maybe others as well. We are going to put up a message on the Daylily-L as well in case others in the region 2 area would like to attend.

It will be October 23rd. This is our fall kick off meeting and it is a pitch-in at a clubhouse. The pitch-in will start around 6-ish, and the location is the Woodland Springs Clubhouse.

IF you attend please bring a dish or dessert of something, if you don't mind.

Woodland Springs Clubhouse,
3535 East 116th Street Carmel, IN 46033

You should be able to use the address in a variety of apps, gps, etc. It is on the north side of Indy. Traffic around the end of the day can be a bit sketchy, so plan ahead. If you need anything else just write or call.

If you need, here is my cell #, just in case. 317-407-2431

see you soon.

I ordered WACKY because I have this sort of fringed daylily that I want to try with it, and I just had to get ROBOT CITY and two of their 2014 dips: EMERALD TOUCANET and MALACHITE SUNBIRD -- plus BLUE-CAPPED CORDON-BLEU also.

Edit: Paula, I would have loved to get WHISKERED TREESWIFT too -- maybe in another year or so... Their greenish dips look really fantastic too, but I had to shut it down at five plants. I do hope you'll share pictures with us when they bloom!

I love that Green Pigeon. As for the 2012 dips, one of my favorite seedlings this year was imaginary numbers x lillians vapor trail.

I went totally 'odd ball', especially when it comes to a Lambertson. I ordered the moth.
Cant remember its name. Confused There was just something simple and different about it, and most of all, its a big flower. I hope I can order one or two more before shipping, but wanted to make sure I had the moth coming.

It's MIGHTY MOTH, and I took special note of it because its pollen parent is MY CUP OVERFLOWS, which has really huge cream-colored blooms. And I do hope you'll share pictures when you get blooms from it, as I'm anxious to see it!

Hehe no I ordered 3 of the dips. Don't worry though, I'm sure I'll have plenty of seeds especially since nearly half of what I added this year didn't bloom for me!

Excellent. I know the facebook page I brought up did not have them all.
The facebook page was fantastic tho, because it gave a non glossy look at the flowers.
