I forgot to look at my Fame. Moving gravel into my new area today.

I will go check out all of mine, both Monstrose and Fame. My 3 year old GD will be helping me.

Finally got around to checking my Fame and it's just being Fame. A very pretty semp.

I do love the shape of the leaves!!

It is a very elegant form to me, in the normal leaf state.
And very interesting in the Monstrose state.

I just came in from the dark outside. Couldn't see to work anymore.
Good news, I found several offset on the 'Fame Monstrose' that are Monstrose form. I then checked the 'Fame' in another bed and found 2 Monstrose offsets in that colony.

Tomorrow I will try to get photos.

I'm going put to tell my 'Fame' about this in the morning.

This is what made me look this evening at the 'Fame' colony.

Lynn, I'm very confused about having these two as separate varieties - although I understand the thinking. But if I show I have Montrose, then it reverts it seems odd I would change my list to show I no longer have it, plus I would then be adding Fame to my collection list. Would DNA testing show these to be the same? It's the same with Red Lion and Red Lion variagated - they change back and forth.

I think I would keep your list as is, containing both forms. It will just morph at times. This is not one we can really stress over.
I do want to keep both forms going in my collection.
