I just came in from the dark outside. Couldn't see to work anymore.
Good news, I found several offset on the 'Fame Monstrose' that are Monstrose form. I then checked the 'Fame' in another bed and found 2 Monstrose offsets in that colony.
This is what made me look this evening at the 'Fame' colony.

My 'Fame Monstrose' has gone all normal but half of my normal 'Fame' has gone monstrose! If I get a bloomstalk on it I'm going to self pollinate to see what comes from that. Hopefully something more monstrose.
Lynn, I'm very confused about having these two as separate varieties - although I understand the thinking. But if I show I have Montrose, then it reverts it seems odd I would change my list to show I no longer have it, plus I would then be adding Fame to my collection list. Would DNA testing show these to be the same? It's the same with Red Lion and Red Lion variagated - they change back and forth.
I think I would keep your list as is, containing both forms. It will just morph at times. This is not one we can really stress over.
I do want to keep both forms going in my collection.
I took photos this morning. Sorry they are very good.
I am keeping these small offsets from the colony of 'Fame'. Notice there is one that is definitely 'Fame Monstrose' form.
This is what I am keeping from the 'Fame Monstrose' colony. A number of them are 'Fame Monstrose' form, and I am keeping a couple of the normal form from that colony.
