I've seen several of these fluttering around a cluster of plants that includes Cardinal flowers, asters, and red salvias. Just wondering what they are and whether I should be concerned. Glare

They are quite small and slightly pinkish on the edges of the wings.

thanks, Janet! I'll need to check the buds and leaves tomorrow for damage.

They are! In fact I was trying to photo one the other day to no avail. Little beggar was way too fast for me to catch with it's wings open to capture the pink. I'm sure that's what I keep seeing around here is the southern pink. I do have red salvia but (crossing fingers) have not seen any damage. The ones I see always seem to be flitting very low to the ground & land on grasses a lot. Shrug!

The Salvia will die back for winter anyway, you can enjoy both the plant and moth if the plant isn't damaged too much. Green Grin!
