Sempervivum: My Favorite

By perennialobsessions

A plant genus that has minimal needs, thrives in some of the coldest climates and least hospitable conditions, yet provides interest throughout the year. Yet they do well in the rainy old Northwest. What more could you ask?

I loved reading this Cynda.
I count myself blessed to live within easy commute to your wonderful nursery. I marvel at all the ways you have found to use your wonderful sempervivum and other interesting hardy succulents. It is fun to walk through your gardens and find treasures tucked among the perennials, shrubs and evergreens. Truly beautiful.
And these plants are as easy to grow as you point out in your above article.

Many of the sempervivum in my collection came from your nursery. Here is one of my favorites. I know, I say that about many of them. Smiling

My semps pretty much have to survive on their own. I must admit to being plant it and watch it but not too much tinkering. I value the information available here on ATP and at the many great nurseries like yours who provide quality products for us to depend on.

Thanks for the great article Thumbs up

I enjoyed your article and would love having the pleasure of touring your nursery. Like CDsSister, I do very little for my Semps., but do love every one and admire them daily. Thank you Lynn, over and over I say that to you for all the beauties you have sent me. Thank You!
