My seedlings from last fall are still kinda small, but they have nice roots starting to come out of the bottoms of the pots. Should I plant them, or is it too late (zone 6A) I can keep them in my garage heated garage til next spring?

I am in zone 6b and would not plant them outside, it is getting late in the season for that. Especially for seedlings. I don't have much experience with keeping plants over winter and actually just started my first ones this fall and they are in my kitchen... will see how they do.
