This is the third time I have tried to post this, so if it shows up more than once forgive me, don't know what the problem is.
This is the third plant my neighbor needs and ID for , it is less that two feet tall.

I could be way out, but this looks like a young plant of Strelitzia nicolai. The leaves are broader than S. reginae. I've grown both from seed but they will not tolerate lower than -5C in a greenhouse.

I'll have to get back with you on how long it has been in the ground, my neighbor thought it was something I had given her, but I have never had a plant like that. So I'll have to check back with her and see if she knows how long it has been in the ground. Thanks everyone.
