I have this asiatic as "pink tiger" does anyone know who it really is?
It sort of looks like PEARL JESSICA in the photo but it is not.

A couple of others (but they have a few spots in the centers) are:

My Joe Ann

and Pink Dream:
Lily (Lilium 'Pink Dream')

These two may be too "spotty".

I seem to vaguely recall an unspotted 1c pink with yellowish midveins... could be a Canadian lily... maybe mags will have an idea @magnolialover

It may be Pink Dream, it does have a few spots but I did not get a good Photo for ID. It was sooooo HOT this summer all the pinks were off color and if I didn't remember to get a photo before sunrise it was too hot for me to be out. By sunset I was dead. At least brain dead. I will save the info I get here and look them up when it blooms next year, when I have the flower in my hand. It gets to 4 feet with downfacing blooms, I really like it.
Any other possibilities let me know, I will save a list and compare the real thing when next it blooms.
My avatar is a white Calypso bulbosa, I cannot pick a favorite lily, it is like trying to pick a favorite child.

It looks like MyJoAnn. Received this under a number of different names from various Dutch bulb suppliers. Is 1c diploid, stems nearly black, dark pollen, around 4 foot tall with up to 20 buds when mature. Does not have secondary buds. Color is a bit less saturated than my photo shows. Currently in Lily Nooks catalog under its correct name.

It certainly does look like MyJoanne, and the detailed description does match it, so does the history of mis-naming! thanks Hank!

I'm really glad to see this ID resolved. I received the same mystery bulb too and it really had me flummoxed. It appeared to match photos of Pearl Jessica. I assumed it was... but then I saw pics of My Joanne and they seemed identical, so I much confuzzled.

The flower is charming, but the inflorescence is most often like a ladder; oppositely arranged pedicels.

Sorry to come into this late, but it certainly resembles My JoeAnn. With companies taking a lily and renaming it and marketing it under a new name, adds to my confusion. It's a very pretty one, but not super robust here, at least not for an asiatic lily.

yes the photos look like pearl jessica, but having the real pearl jessica made it clear it was not when they both bloomed. And it does have a ladder-like stalk, I like the fact it is nice and tall and distinctive.
I hate the multiple name thing, I am too senile for multiple names (born that way, and age has NOT made it better)
