Not certain but it might be a variety of Tabebuia. There are a few listed in the database: http://garden.org/plants/browse/plants/genus/Tabebuia/

Thanks, Lin. I sent him your links and also told him to check out Tabebuia rosea. It's a little early for the other variety to be blooming, although things get weird in Florida, as I'm sure you know!
